Project Snapshot

About the Project

AMI developed coordinated Revit models and documentation for one SER and six TSER switchrooms supporting the Byford rail project.

The workflow began with client-provided technical information, including equipment datasheets, equipment schedules and general floor layouts defining the required arrangement within each room.

This information was incorporated into AMI’s purpose-built Revit template to standardise the modelling process and coordinate room geometry, equipment and project information within a consistent digital environment.

The completed models then became the basis for the drawing packs, providing coordinated documentation for client review and project delivery.

Our Workflow

01

Project Information

Client-provided datasheets, equipment schedules and general floor layouts define the SER and TSER requirements, equipment arrangement and project information.

02

AMI Template & 3D Modelling

The supplied information is incorporated into AMI's purpose, built Revit template to develop and coordinate the SER and TSER models within a standardised workflow.

03

Drawing Pack Delivery

The coordinated models are used to produce the drawing packs and documentation required for client review and project delivery.
